Community Involvement
I'm Co-President of Music Making Memories, a Kansas City organization that brings nostalgic music to residents of memory-care homes.
For the past 4 years, I have been scheduling visits, coordinating volunteers, and holding donation drives. (Last winter, we collected 50+ new blankets for residents of 6 different memory-care homes!)

This year, I also founded a MMM chapter at my high school, and am President of that club. This has increased our volunteer pool by 30+ members.

Bringing Therapy Home
I also enjoy volunteering as a Teacher's Assistant at Bringing Therapy Home, a center that offers occupational, speech-language, and music therapy for kids. I help kids work on social/emotional development and life skills in small group classes.
I offer workshops to teach my original choral pieces
to elementary and middle-school choirs.

After working with the classes and helping them learn the song, I do a Q&A session to discuss songwriting, encourage the kids to be creative, and emphasize the importance of having the arts in our schools!
School choirs have played a huge role in my life, and this is one way for me to give back.

Music Making Memories Club
I run a chapter of my organization, Music Making Memories, at Blue Valley High School as a club. I love being able to get other musicians together to share our music with the community!
